Bloomsbury Book Fair runs monthly, second Sunday of the month, regularly with over 100 dealers. It is the largest monthly book fair in the country and now the only regular London Bookfair. Specialists in antiquarian, secondhand, and out of print books as well as ephemera, print and map dealers and professional bookbinders. Entry is £2 until 12.30 thereafter free. The nearest tube is Russell Square (2 minutes walk). Parking: Free meter bay parking around the hotel on Sundays and no congestion charge.

Barton is now a well-established venue for North West Book Fairs, and attracts twenty-five dealers all with a good general stock, including postcards and ephemera. Local historian and publisher Bob Dobson will be displaying part of his extensive Lancashire collection. This hall has an excellent cafe serving home-made food from 9am. There is a large free car park.

Elton is a pretty village only 5 minutes drive from the junction of the A1/A605. Established for 20 years and held 6 times a year. Usually between 14 and 18 exhibitors offering a good selection of books and some postcards. Free parking. Home made refreshments. Two pubs, a Loch Fyne restaurant and a garden centre provide further leisure opportunities.

Held twice a year in the Levi Fox Hall at King Edward VI Grammar School in Chapel Lane. More than 15 dealers offering a wide range of antiquarian and collectable books, often including maps. It is said that the playwright and poet William Shakespeare attended the school.
