Having been to Jermy & Westerman on the same road on our last visit to Nottingham and found that excellent, we ventured further along to this one last weekend. An extra 20 minutes walk out of the city centre - but well worth the effort. Found best part of £50 of books to take home, which were already very reasonably priced before he discounted the lot to £35 for us. This might be the most complete secondhand bookshop we've been to in terms of having a reasonable size section on just about every subject and of every type. - M&O 19.11.12.

A revisit, by chance, to find that a fair part of the excellent stock had been replenished. The holdings here are very good with numerous categories and hardly anything to ignore. Both the owner and his son were generous with their time on a busy day. I left with three bags of books all of which had been among their recent acquisitions. - Chris Harte 24.08.10.
Not just an antiquarian book shop. Love this type of shop - books stacked everywhere, but well sorted. Chap has so many that he can't fit in his shop so well worth asking for titles. Beware the on-street car parking though, as its resident's only. Shop is only 5mins walk from city center bus station. - Iain Baillie 25.11.11.
