I was rather taken on entering this shop to find every piece of the extensive shelf space completely full. All books were categorised and the quality of the holdings was most impressive. A fundraising bookshop which has sold donated books in support of local charities, for over thirty years.
One of the very first charity bookshops I started visiting about thirty years ago. Lots of friendly helpful staff looking after a stock of reasonably priced books. I usually find at least one book of interest every visit - John Bacon 06.10.08.

As happens so often in the suburbs a knowledgable dealer makes a visit so worthwhile. The lady in charge knew exactly what I wanted after the briefest of explanations and found a number of titles for me beneath all of the clutter. Very strong on old Dickens publications and good stock of post-war Penguins. An enjoyable time but, oh dear, the narrow passages for someone of my girth! - Chris Harte 27.06.09.

The last of the many second bookshops in the Richmond/Kingston area open on a Saturday. A really good selection of high quality books at reasonable prices to be found in the cellar underneath the large number of new books in the main part of the shop. - John Bacon 15.10.09.
I recently visited this shop which is the only one in Richmond now. An interesting selection of secondhand books in the basement particularly good for fiction and poetry. Also a well-presented section of new books and music upstairs - Herne 09.02.11.
