The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) Events For April 2019

The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) was founded in 1974, with just 20 members, in order to provide provincial bookdealers with a shop window in London by holding a regular book fair. They now have more than 500 members and regularly organise more than 60 antiquarian and secondhand book fairs a year.

Located in the historic centre of Bury, the hall is a stone's throw from the much-photographed Abbey Gate, the award-winning Abbey Gardens and the Cathedral. The fair is held on a Saturday when the regions largest traditional outdoor market takes over the streets, so there's plenty to do and see if you have any time left after perusing the wide range of books, maps and ephemera on offer at the fair.
