20.05.19. Around 1,000 unique visitors a day use our site and most of them are looking to buy or sell all sorts of books, maps and ephemera. The news section of the Book Fair Calendar is widely read and frequently commented upon - and you could be promoting your fair there for FREE by writing about it.  Add a comment

14.05.19. The next Bloomsbury Book Fair on Sunday 19th May will have dealers spread across the whole of the Galleon Suite selling a vast array of material, including rare, antiquarian and out of print books, ephemera, photographs, manuscripts, maps and prints, a veritable one stop event for all collectors, academics and enthusiasts. 12.05.19. The Grand Book Sale in Support of Christian Aid at Lord's Roundabout on May 18 & 19 will have thousands of good-as-new, secondhand and old books on every subject. Fact, fiction, reference, children's books CDs, Records, and DVDs   Add a comment

12.05.19. Peterborough Book Fair is held at Elton, a pretty village only 5 minutes drive from the junction of the A1/A605. Established for over 20 years and held 5 times a year. Up to 14 exhibitors offering a good selection of books and some postcards. Free parking. Home made refreshments. Two pubs, a Loch Fyne restaurant and a garden centre provide further leisure opportunities.  Add a comment

12.05.19. Sherborne Book Fair on May 18 has been a feature of life in this delightful Dorset town for over 40 years. Held regularly 4 times a year on the third Saturday of the month in February, May, August, and November, the fair attracts booksellers from all over the Westcountry offering a great selection of books and Ephemera to suit all pockets, and admission is Free!  Add a comment

6.05.19. Lytham St Annes Book Fair on May 11 will see around fourteen dealers selling second-hand and antiquarian books, maps and ephemera. Plenty of eating houses nearby.  Add a comment

6.05.19. Long Melford Book Fair on May 11 is the longest running independent book fair in East Anglia. A wide range of books on offer with natural history, collectable children's books, crime fiction and topography featuring strongly. There are usually also postcards and some ephemera. A bookbinder offers a drop off and collect service. Free parking. Homemade refreshments. Two stately homes and a magnificent church in the village.  Add a comment

6.05.19. Leeds Record & Book Fair on May 11 is a monthly record fair with books and ephemera. Usually about 25 stallholders with 45+ tables of vinyl and 10+ tables of books. An eclectic mix of collectable, rare and obscure records, and a wide selection of secondhand books and ephemera.  Add a comment

29.04.19. The Market Harborough Book Fair on May 4th is fully booked again with around 30 dealers from far and wide offering a tasty selection of books, maps, prints and printed ephemera. 1.04.19. Paulp pointed out that we didn't have this year's Tynemouth Book Fair dates listed. It turns out that they had changed their organiser, telephone number and email address. 24.03.19. Rare Books Edinburgh is a festival dedicated to rare, collectable, and important books and the history of the book. Edinburgh's finest bookish institutions have arranged talks, exhibitions, and workshops for collectors, bibliophiles, and book-lovers, the majority of them free to all. The talks include introductions suitable for budding book-lovers and those merely curious about the history of the book, along with scholars delving into their latest research. Collections rarely seen by the public will be on show.  At the centre is Scotland's largest and most prestigious book fair, with specialist dealers in rare and collectable books from all over Britain (and farther afield) offering selections from their stock.  Add a comment

24.02.19. The annual PBFA Oxford Book Fair on March 2 & 3 is one of the largest events in the British antiquarian, rare and secondhand book, map, print and ephemera calendar. 24.02.19. The New Forest Book Fair on March 2 is a long established book event held in the popular tourist destination of Lyndhurst. Usually has 15 - 20 dealers from across the south of England covering a wide range of subjects and prices to suit all pockets. The fair is held six times a year in the Community centre in the main car park in the middle of town. Entry is free.  Add a comment

Entry to Stratford Upon Avon Book Fair on January 27 will be free and there will be around 20 dealers exhibiting as well as guests from The Dugdale Society and the Shakespeare Hospice Bookshop.
