Should you or anyone you know wish to contribute to this fund, it is being administered by the PBFA, so that the family can receive 100% of the money. Do get in touch with the PBFA office (Donna@PBFA.org). Any cheques should be payable to the PBFA but please mark them "Justin Skrebowski" so that they can be allocated correctly.  Add a comment

19.04.15. I have been known to complain about the dearth of press material sent out by fair organisers -  but this cannot be said of the PBFA's Oxford Book Fair on April 25th & 26th. Conor Pattenden has bombarded me with text and images and I have been faced with the very real problem of how to do the material justice. In the end, I've chosen to highlight: a playbill for the first stage performance of Frankenstein, a rare early book on magic and some fine, signed, Inspector Morse first editions. With over 100 dealers offering tens of thousands of rare and collectable items, it's an event you won't what to miss.  Add a comment

Kinver Book Fair Sunday 15 March 2015 - First visit. Held every month. Perhaps 15 stalls. 42 stalls in its heyday but Roy admitted that as the stallholders have got older there are fewer to replace them. I was pleased with the well selected stock on display and all prices were attractive. The fair needs signposting more - only spotted one sign as I came in from High Street (north) and that was as I got there. Note that Google map indicator for postcode won't take you there. - Brian Stringer 16.03.15.  Add a comment
